"I was nervous about attending the Head 4 Heights workshop having had a life long fear of heights and not knowing exactly what I was letting myself in for. Escalators would normally bring me to my knees let alone 14 metre high climbing poles! I should not have worried as Jennifer, Rod and Tom did everything to ensure that I was fully aware of all the safety procedures involved in climbing and that I would be fully supported to get outside of my comfort zone. The day was superbly managed from the first exercises on solid ground to taking climbing a short distance up the pole acclimatising and at a steady pace climbing a little further. The pace was just right and with Jennifer helping me not to focus on the height but the process and Rod encouraging me foot by foot on how to move upwards I was able to reach the top of the pole and stand on the platform. What an incredible achievement and I was overwhelmed by a feeling of release and happiness. Giddy on my success and with the same awesome team support I climbed the second pole to complete the leap of faith, a feat I would never have previously believed possible. If you have a fear of heights then I would highly recommend you take the leap of faith and sign up for a day with the team from Head 4 Heights"
